Activity description:

In 2021, the group of the industry requirements issues was established as part of the activities of the Geophysics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The main goals of the team's activities are to improve the exchange of knowledge between science and industry and the industry's access to the newest scientific achievements in the field of geophysics, analysis of the application and implementation of geophysical surveys in industry, focusing of geophysical surveys at practical problems indicated by industrial partners and preparation of a document in the current term of office with recommendations for the use of geophysical surveys in various industries.

The first meeting of the  group of the industry requirements issues was held on December 7, 2021 with the use of remote communication appliances. 11 members of the Team and 3 invited guests participated in the meeting. During the meeting, the manner of achieving the specific goals of the Team's activities was discussed.
